RICK LUCERO
PROFESSOR
Professor Rick Lucero is a 6th degree black belt under Master Joe Moreira. A member of the Dirty Dozen (the first non-Brazilians to achieve the rank of black belt), Professor Lucero has over 35 years of teaching and competition experience. He has fought and won on the largest vale tudo stages, as well as at the highest levels of sport jiu-jitsu. With backgrounds in wrestling, judo, sambo, boxing, and mixed martial arts, he possesses an extraordinary knowledge of the pugilistic arts. His accomplishments are too vast to list, but he has competed against, trained with, and taught the biggest names in the sport, including Randy Couture, Vitor Belfort, Mark Kerr, Dan Henderson, Dennis Hall, and Sean Roberts, to name just a few. The depth of knowledge amassed by Professor Lucero, along with his charismatic personality and love for the art, make him one of the most respected instructors in the world.

RYAN HOWELL
INSTRUCTOR
Professor Rick Lucero has only awarded a handful of black belts and Ryan Howell has earned one of them. Ryan has over 15 years of grappling experience, 10 of those with Professor Lucero. A dedicated martial artist, Ryan has an ease to his teaching which creates a relaxed and comfortable learning environment that will benefit anyone looking to learn the art of jiu-jitsu.
DARIO CASTILLO
INSTRUCTOR
Dario assists Professor Lucero with the kids classes. Training since he was 11, he has experience in wrestling, jiu-jitsu, muay thai, and mma. His love for helping the younger generation shows through his detailed and enthusiastic teaching style. He pushes everyone to be their best, on and off the mats.
